Concert pianist and teacher Spyros Souladakis was born in Athens, Greece. He studied piano with Ida Lori Margariti and Marina Koutouvali and graduated in 1999 (Diploma in performance with Distinction). He graduated from the Royal College of Music where he studied with John Blakely and Nigel Clayton.

Spyros has participated in many piano masterclasses where well-known musicians such as Paul Badura Skoda, Murray Perahia, Pierre Boulez, Nelly Acopian-Tamarina, Konstantin and Julia Ganev and Aleksandar Raichev were invited.

Spyros has won first prizes in piano accompanying competitions (London) as well as in solo piano competitions (Athens).

He performs regularly in Greece and abroad. He has performed in New York (Carnegie Hall), London (Wigmore Hall, etc.), Rome, Paris, Milano, Weimar and in various places in Greece.

As a pianist, apart from solo recitals, Spyros often performs with singers. He also plays for events, presents composers' new works in their first performances and he prepares singers and instrumentalists for auditions, competitions, etc.

Spyros collaborates with Greek National Opera, Onassis Stegi, Festival of the Aegean etc., giving concerts, teaching and participating in educational projects, etc.

Spyros currently lives in Athens where he works as a pianist and piano and theory teacher.

Spyros's first appearance at the Casa dei Mezzo Chamber Music Festival was in 2019 where his performance included Mussorgsky's 'Pictures From An Exhibition'. This performance can now be seen on YouTube.
